Adding a charm to a chain? Charms from Fierce Deer are shipped on a small ring called a jump ring. This ring can be opened if you wish to put the charm on a new chain.
If the jump ring on the charm is not large enough to slide over the end of your chain, follow these steps.
1. Using small pliers or tweezers, gently twist open the jump ring, leaving enough space between the two ends to pass the chain and the charm through.

2. Twist the jump ring closed again, ensuring the two ends are flush. If the ends don't press together right away, gently twist the ring back and forth with slight inward force to bring the ends together.
