14kt Gold filled jewelry consists of layers of solid 14kt gold pressure bonded to a core of jeweller's brass. The resulting thick layer of gold means it is durable, top quality, and just a step down from solid gold. The outer layer of gold in gold-filed jewelry is much thicker than gold plated, easily 100 times thicker. Gold filled jewelry can last a lifetime and is great for people with allergies or sensitive skin.

Gold plated jewelry is dipped in a solution that contains gold and is zapped with an electric current. Our 16kt gold plated jewelry consists of a layer of 16kt gold on top of a brass core. Our gold plated jewelry is great quality and should not tarnish if cared for properly. In order to keep your jewelry shiny, we recommend removing before showering/swimming, and avoiding contact with oils/sunscreen.
